Not long back from the vets....

An emergency visit for us earlier.. Mlillie has had a really bad day, about 3 pm, I noticed she was unsettled, as the afternoon went on she got worse , to be honest I was not sure if it was the spondylosis or if she was bloating , her tummy was bloated and she was very uncomfortable, we took her to see the vet around 6 ish, he scanned tummy to check for fluid or a bleed, thankfully he could not see anything. So he put it down to a bad attack of her spondylosis .

He was very straight with us, basically saying that if the pain has gotten above the medication threshold, then we need to think about the next step, he is right of course we can't let her have episodes like this again, So we have upped the meds to the max, she had an injection too, he also gave us something to try to help with the SA, as he said try anything at this stage....

So we are at a place that seems to be coming quicker than we thought, we have to see how she is over the next few days, hopefully this is a blip, but we have decided that if its not, we will not let this go on much longer..

She is settled now (spaced out to be honest on the drugs) , asleep at me feet, think we are in for a long night, the vet said call if we need him,......I hope not .
