So sorry. How tragic for you to lose two dogs one after the other to the same horrible disease.

You will know when the time is right and hopefully your good memories will outweigh the bad.

So so sorry to hear this news but I am sure you will know when the time is right. When we lost our last dog posting here helped a lot, only place everyone understood how I was feeling about it. So use us when you need to it may just help you too.

I made the decision yesterday to have Darcy put to sleep. Her pain medication wasn't doing a huge amount and I didn't want to wait until she could no longer get up or her leg fractured. There was never going to be a good outcome to this. I wish Darcy was still here but she is running pain free with Chester again. I told her he would be waiting for her and am trying to have happy thoughts of the 2 of them together and inseparable once again.

Catherine and Oscar (my other Rottie 4 years old)
