Look what I found in my car port this morning!

I think she had been there most of the night, probably sheltering from the rain. She's very frightened but is now safe in a crate, waiting for the dog warden to call. Good job I don't work on a Friday!

Maybe they were doing what I do when one of the OH's friends pops round late at night, pretend you havent heard it and hope it goes away lol

I had a similar situation last year on bonfire night, exept mine was a chi x that proceded to pee everywhere! She was terrified though.

Really really hope someone is missing this girl

Probably! I thought it was odd because Jack usually reinforces the alarm with a few yips, just in case I hadn't heard it but he was quiet as a mouse this morning!

She's had a few biscuits but seemed very interested when I started rattling bowls to feed my lot so I think I'll give her a little - she may not get much else today!

The dog warden has her now and has advised me to remove her picture as they have had problems with people trying to claim dogs that aren't theirs but being able to describe them from the photo!

Bedding now in the wash as she had fleas and quite a poor skin The dog warden thinks she probably came from a travellers' site in a nearby village. She was as good as gold and jumped up into her van quite happily. I hope no one claims her so she can go to a nice home.
