My poor dog's crusty nose.. is it serious?

Hi. my 10-year-old chocolate lab has had this nose condition for over a month. I've had the vet look at it but all they've suggested was to monitor for change/growth.

I'm attaching a few pictures for better description of her crusty nose. It doesn't seem to bother her but I don't want it to get serious if there is anything I can do about it now.

If you've encounter this with your dog, please share your experience. Thanks!

Have you changed her dish recently? Some dogs are allergic to the plasticiser which escapes from plastic dishes. If so, replace with a stainless steel or a pottery dish.

My dog's nose also got much crustier, by the time she passed her age of 10. I always check my dog's health condition and make sure her nose stay wet!
