Swollen face between eye and jaw

Well see what happens when you are on nights got up this afternoon to notice Cass (SBT aged 11) has a swollen face on her right side between her jaw and eye. I certainly didn't notice it yesterday although it's now very obvious. - Phoned the vets app tomorrow at 9.30am (no sleep for me then) I wonder if it is tooth related, sure someone on here had something similar with a dog of theirs but going back a few years. If you read this what was the outcome I imagine an op at least to check it out.

You can touch her face and lift her lip can't see anything but don't think its a sting it is had but not a solid swelling.

Hi Kazz, it could be a blocked saliva gland, my previous dog Amy had one.
See below...

It could also be an infected tooth.

Thanks for the good wishes just off to work got to the vets She said almost classic tooth issue, Cassie has had a couple injections pain-relief and antibiotics got medication to start tomorrow and booked in for Tuesday morning for dental.

Been to bed and go up and the swelling has gone down from this morning already. Eating, drinking fine.

Pleased to report her face is pretty much back to normal now and she is a lot perkier.
She did find it odd that I hand fed her a couple of bits of her breakfast and dinner (tablets hidden in)
