Quick fix for a filling (dental )

Hi all Zoeybeau has just called me to say her filling has fallen out , And she is on her way here to my house , Has anyone got any quick fix temperary measures she can use till the dentist opens , As all chemists are closed here today , Thanks in advance for all replies xxdk

Maybe this is off the mark, but could she ring NHS Direct for advice?

I would be concerned about plugging the gap in case you plug in some nasty bacteria with it. If she's not in pain, it might be better to avoid eating that side and keep rinsing so nothing can fester in there.

If she's in pain, ( or not) the NHS people would know for sure what to do.

I would use a strong mouthwash to help reduce natural bateria, which would help to reduce the pain.

Chewing gum if its painful because of air getting in. A dentist told me this many years ago. To temporarily plug a hole you can seal it with chewing gum. If a chemist is open you can get temporary fillings there these days though.

Thank's guy's was in pain but it ok now, I'l call dentist tomorrow when they open, hopefully she will be able to refill is asap, it was only temp anyway but I was to chicken to go back now it's a nessesity.xzbxx
