Buzzard I think..

We have snow again here in the Malverns and I was just looking out of the window and spotted this huge bird in a tree. I think it is a buzzard, we have a breeding pair in this field, I have never seen one so close to the garden before and think it is watching the little birds come to the feeder in the garden.

Sorry the picture quality is poor, I wasn't able to get any nearer..

Hard to tell from the photo, but it probably is.

We have loads of buzzards up here, that are displaying at the moment. I love birds of prey too!

Here is my one and only decent buzzard pic. I will have to try harder!

Bit hard to tell but I agree with Kirsty - buzzard.

Have I seen that pic of a buzzard Kirsty? It is pretty good.

Yep, I am pretty sure I sent it to adogslife. Thanks, it was a fluke shot, but I was pleased with it.

We have loads of birds of prey here; they're magnificent!
We have to be careful round this time of year though esp with kittens and small dogs as the buzzard will make off with them, and it attacked a few joggers last year. One of my neighbours came back from a run with a bleeding head!!
