I Lost My Baby

My beautiful darling shepherd cross T Bone passed over the Rainbow Bridge at 7.30am yesterday morning here in his home with me beside him.
He had been due to go into the vet at half eight for investigations as he'd been very down and lethargic, but we never made it.
T Bone came to us in 2005, he had been left in a shed for six weeks alone. Our vet rescued him and sent him to us. He was a beautiful dog and didn't have a bad bone in his body. He was gentle loving and kind and when my husband died suddenly last year T Bone was my saving grace and we never left each others side.
He was my best friend and companion and l am in buckets and feel so void. The house feels so empty without him. He is to be cremated so he can come back home to me.
I have my new puppy Henry to keep me sane but my T Bone can never be replaced.
I loved him with all my heart and soul.....rest in peace my beautiful baby....I Love You My Faithful Best Friend.

Hi It is so difficult to know what to say,but he will always be in your heart, when things are not so raw,you can gather things of special signifiance, and make a collage,I have done this when I was well, even went back to some of our favourite places with my new companion taking photos. But at least you have Henry, and you can let all your grief out and he will not judge you,to me it became a physical pain, when I had to go to work, and knew I couldnt share several times had to go to the ladies and have a cry.Be strong, and it will get better.Gemini54
