Good morning Brenda and all who follow

Have already taken advantage of the sun and finished the last bed cutting down a few plants so they don't rock during the winter and taking out most of the leaves - although that is a job that is never ending this time of the year. Have also made macaroni cheese, some in the freezer for future use, Ben's lunch for tomorrow and now waiting for a lemon drizzle cake to finish cooking before putting lunch in the oven.

Good afternoon all.

Another lovely day. Not quite as cold as yesterday so really nice time out.

The remembrance service went well this morning with lots of representatives of the different services and so nice that children are included. The only sour note for me was that you could hear the megaphones for the start of the motorbike beach racing while the march and service were taking place. So disrespectful.

That's disgusting Chris... email the organisers, 1/2 hour out of the day is nothing to give to show respect for those who made the ultimate sacrifice...stuff like that really annoys me! Apparently the staff in the cafe of one of our Morrisons just ignored the silence

Completely agree with Griff & Chris - It's not much to ask organisers of events to just 'switch off' for half an hour.

I just don't like humans very much... present company accepted.
Most people just seem to think that they are owed something by the world and it's all self self self, kids are spoilt little brats, manners seem scarce ... just not a pleasant place really

Fully agree with you Kelly. I get sick to death of kids causing damage and everyone defending them because 'they are only kids' and 'it's what kids do'.

Great, apart from that small amount of damage in increased the next time they get bored and then the next and then the next.

I don't know what happened to good manners and respect, but they seem in awfully short supply these days
