Should i be worried about my puppy's nails?

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/...TcxMy5qcGc.jpg

Hi, not sure if this link has worked.
We have had her for four weeks and she is almost 15 weeks.
When we got her she had a mixture of black and white nails but I noticed the bottom of the white ones where pink and looked sore, some have red bits on too.
The vet seen them and said it might of been because of her diet before we got her and they would all turn white again soon.
But they are not they are going more pink, I think they are turning pink is this normal?
They still have red bits on which look sore so I'm still a little concerned, the black ones are fine its just the white ones. Couldn't get a great pic on my phone either.
Thanks!

Not a great pic and I'm no expert but the pink I can see just looks like the quick to me. You can't see it with black nails but you can with white ones.

I know couldn't get a clear pic, some of them look sore you see or maybe it is just the quick and I'm just being overprotective! X

Looks like quick to me too, in the picture the pink looks a normal colour. Are you looking at the darker section on top?
Is she showing any signs of pain or irritation?

Others may be along soon with more help, but perhaps if you can get a clearer picture it may help?

Not advising giving your dog a manicure or anything but this has some pictures of a dogs paw with white nails and the pink quick clearly visible.

Ah thank you for that,
She's not showing signs. Of irritation no and it is the darker red bits that have been cause for concern maybe that's what the vet was talking about to do with her old diet.
My last dog had black claws and I don't really look at other dogs feet so I didn't realise the quick would be so visible.
Thanks

Hi, My Mindy has just been spayed, and the vet asked if we wanted them to look at her nails or teeth whilst under anaesthetic..... she also had a quick look, and said that her nails were touching the floor comfortably.........

She has black nails, so is a little harder to detect, but with white nails, it is much easier to see how long they should be above the pink.

My Daisy has white nails, and her's look just like your pups, white nails are much easier to clip as you can clearly see the quick! I would say as long as there is no signs of irritation they are fine.
