Good morning everyone, I trust you and your lovely four legged friends are in fine fettle. Do have a good day, wrap up warm and dry and above all stay safe and well. God bless.

Good morning Moyra and anyone else who pops in.

I think we will need to wrap up warm again this morning. Looks cold and murky out there.

Have a good 'un all xx

It wasn't me, honest, Kelly. Not a sight nor sound of it this morning.

The rain held off until we got home though, thankfully. Now, the showers are a coming.

A woman at the cafe on the next table to us decided she wanted music. Unfortunately it was from her mobile 'phone so it was very tinny and very, very annoying - especially as it was quite loud.

The older I get, the more noise phobic I get - so not a good breakfast experience.

Bought a call blocker the other day for Gary, but it's one that allows programmed numbers so that nothing else can get through. He goes nuts with the phone calls that ring and nothing comes through on his text to the point where it makes his really anxious.

This call blocker seemed like the perfect option. When it came it dawned on us that there's an intermediary for his calls - ie Type Talk - that turns speech from those calling to text and text to speech the other way round via the Type Talk operator. Soooo, we didn't know whether or not we needed a prefix to the numbers we allowed or not. It has taken me three days, umpteen phone calls etc to sort out. The supplier of the blocker didn't know (despite coming from a specialist shop for hard of hearing supplies), our 'phone provider didn't know and it took four or five calls to different agencies before finally getting through to Type Talk themselves. After all that, no we don't need to put a prefix in so we could have just programmed the damned thing with phone numbers and it would work.

Who said life was dull

Hi all. I wanted to sit in the garden but the dog next door barked all the time so went for a walk instead. Of course it has clouded over now and said dog has gone in. If I wasn't a lady I'd swear. Can see me losing my rag soon though when the proper summer comes.

To right Kelly. I'm listening to the voice. Love music when it is good. Tom Jones is amazing still.
