Heard an awful thing yesterday

Hi,

Yesterday I heard that a Border Collie cross has been killed by a staffy. The staffy had been roaming the streets on it's own all morning then suddenly turned on this man's dog as they walked past it. It was seen walking down the street all bloody.

The man is devastated, the police were called but they couldn't do anything but the dog warden caught the dog. The vet ambulance came out but couldn't do anything for the poor dog.

Ian

How awful - I don't know what I would do if approached by an aggressive dog while out with Oscar. Must have been a nightmare for the owner. It is something that will take a good while for him to get over I should think!
But, what was a Staffie doing out on its own anyway?

Hi,
The staffy was owned by a lad, he's a prat and so is his girlfriend that lives with him, they probably just let him out.
