Been baking all weekend...

Well, here's the last batch of baking before Christmas...

Cheese, Bacon, Paprika and Wholegrain Mustard Muffins...

Cream cheese, almond and vanilla cookies...

Brown sugar cookies...

2x Corned beef pie...

I've also done an apple pie for my dad and a beef and red wine casserole for tea!

I'm going back to work for a rest tomorrow LOL

Those look great! Recipe as follows...

Brown Sugar Cookies

2 cups sifted flour, less if possible
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 tablespoon 15% cream (any kind of cream from 10% to 35% will work fine)
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
granulated sugar, for decorating

Blend 1 cup flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla, and cream. Stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture, then add enough of the remaining 1 cup flour to make the dough stiff enough to roll. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill several hours. Preheat oven to 375 F. Place on a lightly floured cutting board and roll to 1/8" thickness. Use floured cookie cutters to cut into shapes. Place on an ungreased baking sheet, sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake 8 minutes.

Wow.... you are clever, I wish I could bake but I can't bake for toffee (no pun intended!) but love home baking
My sister has just made peppermint cream sweets and they are delicious, I've dropped hints that I would like them for a surprise Christmas present!

I've only just started in the last few years and this is the first time I've done as much as this. Pleased with the results though
