Morning Moyra and all to follow.

Dillon still not right I have ordered slippery elm and canikur but today he us refusing food where as yesterday and even Wednesday when he started with the loose stools he was eating.
He is drinking well still but his wee this morning is a funny colour pinky red in colour and phew it stinks managed to scoop some into a plastic bowl and saved some pooh and we are ringing vet at 9. So a vet rip it is to rule out hopefully anything bad and get him back on the road to recovery.
I have already had tears.

Hope everyone and all four legged friends are well today.

Fingers crossed for the vet and Dillon Lynn.

Hope the new specialist appointment comes through quickly Chris and hope the new medication has no adverse affects for your son.

Thank you brenda, Sue and griff.

I wondered that griff. He is drinking a lot still but not as much as when it was so hot.
Rang the insurers they will send claim form out and happy to pay direct to vet if any tests needed.

Managed to clean his bottom up and brush him he ate charcoal biscuits and bonios while having bottom cleaned and ears cleaned.
Still turning his nose up at chicken which he wasn't yesterday and for him to turn down scrambled egg he is feeling under the weather.

Will have to see what the vets opinion is. Hopefully nothing to major he is now up and barking and wagging his tail as Gorden is putting his trainers on to put petrol in the van. Dillon thinks we are going for a walk.
Hopefully not to much wrong then.

Lynn, so sorry that Dillon is not so good. I hope the vet can sort him out. It is not good when you know his breed is not known for long life. I wish him well.

Thank you Moyra that is my fear nearly 7 and although he comes from good lines especially regards longevity he is almost a veteran and this is usually the time things start to go wrong.
We feel happy we have had to this age after losing Max then Ollie by 41/2 but we never have them long enough do we ? Illness when they start to age is so worrying.

Maybe the vet will give us some of that griff not sure how we will get it down him we may end up with most of it on us.

Will update when we are back.
