I just phoned M&S to cancel, and asked why it had gone up so much........
Firstly vets fee's have increased
Secondly Teagans breed is now in a high risk category!!!

I couldn't even be bothered to ask what that was supposed to mean!

I had awful trouble finding decent affordable insurance, Pei's are not a popular breed with insurance companies, most wont insure them at all.

Diesel has always been and still is with Kennel Club, it's £45 per month which i think is outrageous (especially as we have never made a claim in the whole 3 years) but my ex pays for D so its up to him.

I got a quote for Amy from the KC and they quoted £80 per month

I am now with Virgin, I have their Accident and illness extra cover for £27 per month which isnt bad for the breed compared to all the others, however, i have only just put in my first claim so have no idea what they are like at paying up yet!

Zeus is currently with Healty Pets, when we got him we were quoted £11.23 per month but since he's got bigger and heavier it's gone upto £35. But on tesco for the weight and age he is now it'll cost me £9.51!!!

Are tesco good for pet insurance?

It's gone up to £40 from £19.99, and theres no way I can afford that.
It went up to around £19.99 last year, and I thought that was high, but this is so expensive

I've been online and got about a million quotes, varying from £35, to £129 a month!

I think i'm going to have to put £20 a month into a bank account, and if I do have to pay out a lot, i'll have to borrow the money.

Going to phone tomorrow and cancel it (It's M&S btw)
Poppy's is with M&S last year I paid £155 for the year, this year the quote is £251!!!! I've just looked at More Than, they offer exactly the same for £211. I've never claimed for Poppy either. I know there's a credit crunch but I think its disgusting - it's almost doubled - your's has doubled!

I've had a quote from Sainsbury's Pet Insurance for £134. Pretty much the same benefits as M&S other than the 5% from BestPet Pharmacy and no Vetfone. Other than that' can't see any difference. Sainsbury's here I come!

Don't get me started on M&S. They doubled our premium just before Xmas - only one small claim for Sydney during the year that amounted to a lot less than I had paid them!

Needless to say I am now with Animal Friends.

I remember the old days when M&S were said to be good. Shame they seem to be like most of the others now.

And the KC?????? I am in shock at the prices quoted here!!
