I have had not had to deal with a dog with that specific cancer but have had a young dog with t.cell lymphoma 7 years ago and I can understand your heartache.

Oh no, so sorry to hear this

What a sad time to join Dogsey, I do hope other members who have had similar experience can come along soon and help. Sorry, I haven't had any dealings with this type of cancer.

Just wanted to say Hi and offer support - welcome to Dogsey, sorry it's such a sad time for you to join

i'm so sorry to hear about your dog. it is an awful thing to hear your pet has cancer. my 12 year old border collie was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia 3 years ago. he is on daily chemo and steriod treatment but to look at him, you would think he was a fit and healthy pup. he certainly behaves as though he was.

i don't have experience of your dogs specific cancer but i do know what it's like to live with a dog with cancer. if i can help at all i will.

I am so sorry to hear your news, I lost Moet to liver cancer Jan 2007.

The vet put him on a Hepatic diet (which he didn't like) and he was given Frusemide 20 mg twice a day and then Medrone 4 mg twice a day (both of these are tablets), we just let him eat what he wanted or would eat. Your vet is the best person to advise you.

I am sorry I can't offer any practical help, but my thoughts are with you.

im sorry about your news
without knowing your dogs results and medication it is hard to advise, but, there are various ways to manage it.on the non medication side your dog is prob on hepatic food, right? also available from your vet is 'doxion' it is like an antioxidant for the liver,it helps scavage the 'free radicals' we have had really good results!(pre and bost blood tests have proved this) it will not interfere with any medication and is defo woth a try.
i hope this helps?
woo-woos to you both.x
