Liver Disease in Young Terrier Mix

My 2.5 year old Terrier mix rescue dog was diagnosed with abnormal liver levels in July 2017. Since then, we've performed multiple lab tests, an ultrasound and a biopsy and confirmed her liver is enlarged, shunting and scarred. We've ruled out congenital and an acquired shunt, cancer and a viral infection. She's currently on steroids and antibiotics but we aren't seeing an improvement in her overall health.

I'm hoping that someone is this forum might have a similar story or direction to provide us (that we would communicate to our vet).
