Went to agility tonight with my mums dog Kaine

ok so i didnt tell you i was planning on doing this but i took kaine to agility tonight, he has never been in a class situation before and he done pretty well, wouldnt do the tunnel shoot ( tunnel with a big sleeve thing on the end) but did the see saw, the a frame, weave, jumps, normal tunnel no problems i even heard one of the advanced trainers who came in about 10 mins before the end comment on how good kaine was at agility and was shocked it was only his first night, im sooooooooo proud of him, he was excellent

Congratulations, that sounds really good

Are you going to take it up with Ty (or is he too young at the moment?)

Well done, sounds like you both did good
Dont worry about the soft tunnel - it can take a while, we make sure they are totaly confident with a regular tunnel then hold the fabric up so they get confident with that, then let it touch their back and slowly lower it till they are pushing tru

Its scary looking for them cos they dont know

no ty is the same age as kaine both 5 years, but ty has hd and its quite bad so i cant put too much strain on his hips which agility would do, i can give him a go at places like the dt fun day but thats about it

thats why i dogknapped kaine from my mum lol

oh that's such a shame about Ty, but great that you've got Kain you can have a shot with.

(I wouldn't have guessed at Ty being 5 from his photos!)
