Leather for me too, i wouldn't go back to material now.
You can get cleaner which also stop the leather from cracking.
I have a cream one, but i am going to get a darker one next time.....

Best stuff for keeping leather soft and supple is 'Autoglym leather care cream' which you can get from Halfords or any good car accesory shop.Car interiors get a lot more abuse than domestic furniture so is perfect for it.

Baby wet wipes are also good for quickly cleaning leather and help keep it soft like a babys bum.
