"New" furniture arrives at last

A friend of a friend had bought a new suite and as the shop wouldn't take away the old one, it was offered to me foc. This is great as (a) I have no spare cash and (b) I only have the dog settee, quite comfy but a bit soiled with constant muddy paw prints and dog hair. Deccy is reasonably happy about sharing, but with the "new" suite he would be able to stretch out alone.
It arrived this afternoon. Deccy immediately jumped onto the new settee (which has a throw over it) and declared it to be his. After tea, he jumped onto one of the chairs and declared it to be his. He then climbed onto the dog settee where I was sitting, and fell asleep with his feet in the air.
Looks like I still don't have my own chair.....

They are funny aren't they. Claim every seat in the house as theirs, but you can't help loving them and I know you really don't mind not having your own chsir.
