Hello everyone. You know when one thing goes it comes in threes so hopefully I have had the three. First it was the car, then it was Tyto who is better now and then the security light which has now been fixed. Goodness it was dark without it, good job Tyto has a white tip on his tail so I could see where he was in the garden. sorry to see some of you are or have been poorly. Hope you will all be better soon. My friend in Shoreham who helps me when I have a really bad day of noise has a dreadful cough at the moment so I hope she gets better soon. Took the car in for its winter check so that's another thing done. Oh and the reason I haven't been on well first the tablet kept playing up and then I had been logged out but fortunately I remembered my login details. Take care all will keep popping in. Bfn.

Evening everyone not long back from Essex.
Bit slow at the Milton (Cambridge) interchange on the way over this morning hit the rush hour traffic as I left the house at 8.30 and as usual a bit slow on the way back M11 and the Ely turn off rush hour again left Essex later than I intended.
Put the little fir trees with the lights on the graves mum and dads and nan's tied to the headstone. Angela's is flat so we have had to stake the pot in the ground and keep fingers crossed it stays put.

Hope everyone is well and those feeling poorly feel better soon.

Moyra gill is doing well at the moment thank you no more chemo for her she is now resistant to it but is on Tamoxifen the breast cancer drug which seems to be working. It is Tuesday she is back to the hospital and hoping they will have the scan results but not holding our breath.

I swear Moyra, she has been the same for as long as i have known her...i don't know what i did to her...nothing i am aware of, i constantly have to fight to see the Dr of my choice...when the old Drs were there it was the same...TBH she has her favourites and if you aren't one of those her attitude stinks
Brenda, hopefully that is the end of your run of bad luck. Ahhh the broken security light, i hate it when mine goes and one of my dogs is all black lol

Griff, perhaps you need to take her the odd box of chocolates and say you are happy with the help she has given you..................YUK but it is worth a try!

Lynn, you make me feel guilty that I should visit my parents grave, particularly on the 5th December the 48th anniversary of my dads death. I did love him so. But mother is now with him and I am sorry I feel sad about the way she treated him and me. Her love was for the two boys and my younger sister so it makes is so hard. I have planted some Sweet William in memory of my dad and I am having delivered some other bulbs to celebrate my M-I-L 's death and that of my baby son who died at 2 months. His anniversary of his birthday is 7th of Jan but his death was not until the 2nd March so the sorrow of losing him is spread out over the months.

I hope you all come to terms with memories at this time of year. God bless.

Evening All,
Ooooooh! Surprises all round - the mysterious vanishing Dogsey. Knowing so little of these things, I thought the baillifs had been and run off with it! lol ! Pleased to see that all is now restored.
Glad that hips hae been fixed and Specialists consulted and hopefully Brenda's luck will now change for the better (having had her 3 in a row). June - it seems has got her hands on a man with a bit of go about him and intends to work him to death (by the sound of it!) LOL!
Been out most of the day here - took the dogs out for a good jaunt early doors and then took off doing Mem related stuff.
Back in a bit - bye fer now.

Moyra - Try and stay strong even though memories come flooding back. This time of year always seems to bring them back. Comfort yourself with the thoughts of good times and sweet memories. You know that if you need a little cheering, your Dogsey pals are only a press of a few keys away. God bless. G.

Well done NJ, hope Brian likes his new toy too
Griff I'm glad you have a good GP and a consultant that cares, it's what you need
Lynn will keep fingers firmly crossed on Tuesday for great results and I agree them trees sound fab,
TW glad you have a good handyman and keeping him busy, no more falling and trying to do the splits
Lauryn staying at a friends tonight and they are off to Derby shopping in the morning doing some Christmas shopping. Lauryn isn't back at work till Sunday.
It was our town's lights switch on tonight, we didn't go, I didn't want to push it today, it's the Michlemass market Sunday so I want to go up for that. I really enjoyed it last year. The whole town get involved and lots of the shops open and are very Christmassy

When the weather is like this then our two always seem to be hyperactive, chasing here, there, and everywhere. They really seem to love it but I suppose it may also be a way to keep warm.

Of course when we get back home they immediately zonk out in the most comfy spot they can find where as I (like you) have to carry on with errands and stuff for SWMBO, why can't I just flop down in a comfy spot after walking for miles in the pouring rain and sleet
