It's not my kind of book. I prefer crime novels.

However my MiL left her copy of book 2 on my counter and I needed to read before bed (it's a habit) and I'd ran out of other books that I hadn't read before.

So I thought why not. Lets see what all the fuss is about. I started Sunday night and went to bed at 11. Half past 1 I was like I really need to go to sleep but I couldn't put it down. I only got chance to get reading it again last night. I started where I left on chapter 6 and by 2am I was on chapter 20...

I'm hooked on the story - the sex bits are quite boring and repetitive - but then I haven't read the first book yet. But I love it.

I think sticking pins in my eyes would be preferable to reading 50 Shades of Grey.

I read half of the first book and couldn't bring myself to finish it. Thought it was a load of rubbish! Clearly people don't get out very often if they think the sex in the book is particularly pornographic!

I am a woman of a certain age never read Harry Potter but have enjoyed the first book 50 shades and well into the second book and will be reading the third.

I do wonder where the author gets her ideas from. I loved the Jilly Cooper books too. Bit of fantasy never hurt anyone and when life is throwing some hard curve balls at you, you need some light entertainment to ease the stress.

Like the tele if you do not like or are easily offended do not read or turn off.

TBH people might as well just watch the real thing rather than a cheesy novel if that floats their boat.
