Alan, that is so sad, i really feel for you, but you know you have given her 13 wonderful years and need not to feel sad for that but be happy you had her for so long, it will be hard when the time comes but at least you know she was loved and loved you back and thats all we can expect form live. Big hugs, be strong.

aww ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))) to you,, that is such a sweet post and very very touching,, im sitting here with tears rolling down my cheeks,,

you see my dog lady is 15 and very tired and weary these days,, she lives with my mum and has been in my life since i was 9.
rainbow bridge is calling her too and i just dont know what we will all do when she goes,, my mum especially, she has been my mums rock and has kept so many of my secrets safe,, like you i hope we dont have to say goodbye too soon but when we do i know it will be a very very sad day
