Thinking of you before I go off to bed, especially dear Ollie, so I hope you're all safe and most of all I hope Ollie is going to be ok, which I know he will, he's in the best place now, and no matter how worried you and Gordon are, I also hope you get some sleep tonight. Tomorrow is another day, and there's always better news of a morning, I've learned that throughout many of life's traumas! I hope we all get the good news we want from you Lynn in the morning, I'll be praying soooooooo hard for you all tonight and positive vibes are on constant now......xxxxxx

Thank you all so much for the support.

We are home Ollie isn't he was sedated while we were there and they will be running tests on him tonight and tomorrow.

The vet we saw yesterday was very concerned at how quickly he had declined. ( He did do a wee before we got in the car so one good thing he didn't need a catheter) she feels this was going on and the fact he couldn't wee was not because of an infection but because there is something underlying but because he seemed ok on his legs last night the infection threw itself up as a red herring.

He is having full bloods tonight and a chest x-ray and if they show nothing underlying they will be looking into neurological problems tomorrow. She will ring with results tonight of the tests she was starting to run while we were coming home.

She was very concerned at his back legs giving way under him and how quickly it had happened and the way he was swaying as if drunk when walking.

I kept my head about me till we left the room and he was well out of it then I broke down.

The house is so empty without him.
