Youch!!!! Blimey I can see just why you've been crying all day!! Poor Jakey boy!

He will heal though Lauren and I know it's going to be really hard to see that injury until his fur starts to grow back.

Hmm, I'm guessing that's the collie in him then if he doesn't do sedate! Dylan could give any bull a run for his money too and at 14, he ain't showing any signs of slowing down!

oooowww gosh that looks really sore
hope jakes not in too much pain and heals quickly
i can see why you have been so worried about him, i think i would agree it could be that glass bottle that you saw that caused it, its so annoying that people just leave things like that lying around, not only for us that have to then have the worry off the injures caused by it and the vet bills but, what about wild animals that arnt able to go to the vets and get treated

rubys sends hugs and licks to jake and hope he feels better tomorrow

Thanks guys. I couldnt believe it when I saw it. I cant decide what looked worse, before or after the stitches... Its hard to tell now its stitched, but it was a slice in his skin (as opposed to him being stabbed by it) and the edges were a clean straight cut, so my guess is either glass or sharp metal (couldnt see any of that though). The poor bunnies in there are in danger of being injured by whatever it was. He didnt even seem to notice it until he ran back to me and the wind hit it... Must've been agony.

My bf even told me he thought I would have over reacted, so was shocked when he saw it coz he was expecting a wee nick.
