Is it okay for dogs to eat bananas?

My dog's not purebreed. I posted her photos here, and some people say she's got a Collie in her. Anyway, is it okay to feed her with bananas? I tried one time, and she liked it. Would it be healthy for her just like it is for humans?

THANKS MUCH!

I have give bananas to my dog and she loves them and doesn't have any side effects from them.

I have never heard that bananas are bad for dogs.

I have seen them recommended as part of a raw food diet. It is best if the bananas are very ripe.

it.

My boy loves his bananas... and mango....carrots etc

Some things you should steer clear from are
Grapes and Raisins
Onions
Chocolate, Coffee ,caffeine,
Macadamia Nuts and Walnuts
Parts of tomato plant and green tomatoes
Hope this helps

Mine are fed BARF,and veggies and fruit tends to be left overs that my fussy kids won't eat. This week due to the frost and the fact that my fruit basket is next to my kitchen window my bananas have gone black.Bananas fine but skin is black and kids won't touch them.So for the last 2 nights the Woos have had a bananas mashed in with their raw meat. They have always loved them.
Bananas contain potassium,so are a good occasional supplement in RAW feeding. Also they are a natural mood enhancer, sort of Prozac in a fruit form(but need to eat loads - not advised). So possibly happy dogs.LOL.
