Pet 'serial killer' on the loose in Bedfordshire

The discovery of the mutilated bodies of dead dogs and cats is causing concern among residents of the village of Arlesey in Bedfordshire, who believe a serial killer is on the loose. A Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinator, John Savory, reported that following a fax from Bedfordshire Police warning of pet abductions in the area, there have been a number of findings, including a dead dog thrown from a car and mutilated cats.

Other reports of pets have included dead dogs and cats found hanging from trees in the local cemetery, some with horrible injuries.

Bedfordshire Police confirmed an incident of a dead cat with a throat injury but said although they have heard rumours, they can only investigate if any findings are reported to them.

Bedfordshire Police can be contacted by ringing 101.

I hope they find whoever is responsible and throw them in jail for a very long time!
