Just makes you think, if a staff can get 2.35 X bigger than their breed standard - up to 17kg (17kg X 2.35 = 39.95kg just say 40kg,) that is freaky!!!!!!
So imagine going on the same as above (2.35 X breed standard weight) and seeing some of these walking down the road.
-Westy 23.5kg
-Whippet 30.5kg
-Lab 79.9kg
-Pressa Canario 112.8kg
-Rotty 117.5kg
-Malamute 131.6kg
-1 more the St. Bernard
213.8
All the breed standard stats that I have used were out of - DK THE NEW ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THE DOG/ Dr Bruce Fogle

I tend to agree. I just cannot believe a Stafford, no matter what the breeding how solid or muscular lol, unless completley & utterley obese could be 80lbs in weight at 15"-17" tall. It may be the case the dogs are as large as you say, but if the dogs are these heights and weights mentioned they would have to be obese and it would be a first I have ever come across a Stafford at this weight.....Like I said before you have dogs like ABs at this weight yet 10 or so inches taller than what you describe (and these are also dogs with plenty of bone/muscle etc).

Sorry to nit pick I just find it unbelieveable.

I met a Staffy yesterday that weighed 6 stone.
He was obese, and was on a special diet, that the vet put him on.
The vet said he has to loose at least 1 to 1 1/2 stone

He was fairly tall, and even being tall you could tell he was obese at a glance!
