A flirt-pole?

Doeas anyone know how to make a flirt pole? I thought this might be fun for Archie seeing as he loves chasing stuff.

Here you go how to make one

Materials needed: (All found at your local Home Depot or any hardware store)
8 ft. long piece of electrical conduit, Cut this into a 7 1/2 ft long piece. (Keep the left overs)
11 ft. of nylon rope narrow enough to fit inside the pole.
1 bicycle handle bar grip. (you gotta buy the set..LOL)
1 strip of real cow hide. (12 inches long by about 3 - 4 inches wide)

Tread the rope through your conduit. Slide the handle on, tie a knot in the at the handle end. Burn the nylon rope so the ends to not come un-done.
Tie a knot at the other end.
Tread the remaining piece of conduit upto the knot, tie another knot.
Now cut a hole in your piece of cow hide. This can be difficult, as the hide is thick and hard.
A drill press works awesome!
Now tie your cow hide to the end of the rope.

The 6 - 8 inch long piece of conduit adds weight to the pole to help with better navagation of the end of your cow hide. You can use the pole to run the hide on the ground like a rabbit, the dogs love it.
At first your cow hide will be very stiff, but after some slobber it softens up.
