(Pictures)Started Off As A Yeast Infection

Hello everyone,
Just registered to the forums to get some help. For the past couple of weeks I've been monitoring my young Shar-pei's paw yeast infection. She had one in the past but it was quickly resolved with some home remedies. Recently it has gotten 100x worse spreading to each paw and now I have woken up to her having an unusual patch of fur missing on her upper right leg. I wanted to see if any other Shar-pei owners had any past experience with this problem and could give me an insight. She doesn't have fleas, and my other Shar-pei is in perfect health so I don't think its spreadable.

I am not a vet, but to me this looks like mites ... if so, your dog would be scratching himself ... is this the case? Poor dog, it looks so sore

Hi peimomma I would say your dog is in a lot of discomfort and needs veterinary attention. 'Home remedies' are not much help for this kind of thing and could make it worse.
I have a good idea what the problem is but I am not a vet. Please get you dog treated before the condition gets any worse.

Was it a vet that diagnosed it as yeast infection?

I'd certainly get a vet to have a look

No clue sorry but it looks extremely painful, so yes I'd be straight to the vets.

Took her to the vet a few days ago and she was negative for mites. Just was really bad allergies. She's on medications now and she's healing amazingly!
