I've met most working, pastoral and utility type rare breeds, due to showing. I know people with Catalans, Komondor, PBGV, Podengos etc. and of course Estrelas. I love unusual dogs, but especially flock guarding breeds. I'd love to meet Thai Ridgebacks.

I had only met one Anatolian Karabash until I eventually bought a pup, now I love the breed - but still have not met many!

I would love to meet a Belgian Laekenois (have only seen a couple at a distance at Crufts).

I would really like to meet (and possibly own) a Hungarian Kuvasz, but I believe there are not many at all in the UK.

There was a Lagotto that I did agility with, she was a lovely dog. I met a Portugese water dog at a retrieving challenge, it was ok at retrieving but not the most friendliest of dogs.
There are a couple of Hovawarts at training, they are probably not rare but i've only ever seen one previous to those.
There was also an Irish red & white setter that lived round the corner from me. I wasnt quite sure what it was when it was a pup as it's hair was short and I only ever saw it at a distance but when it grew I realised!

I'd love to meet one of the few Braque d'auvergne's which are now in this country and see them work.
