Important update on my current situation - Good news and announcement..

Ok guys, you may remember in April, i got signed off work with work related stress becouse of the incessant bullying that has been going on..

Im still off and am signed off till end of july, after htat we will see if i feel better...

I am taking anti-depressants and anxiety releiving medication and have been referred to counselling.

Found out Lisa another girl in my team (the only other girl in their 20's who is a finacial adviser too) has been bullied and threatened by the same bosses, so she is off sick to and decided to leave...
Nice to see everything carries on as usual

Anyway, someone said in the thread about the above that depression is the place where you figure out what you want to do with your life and i have done just that!

I went to help hevvur wtih her pet shop a few days and in conversation about buying the place, it struck me that i really envied her situation.. and have decided to buy my own business too.

I have always enjoiyed working in a shop, dealing with customers and have figured i REALLY want to be my own boss.

I have found a card and gift shop im interested in and may put in an offer next week...

Im really excited about having my own place and makin g money for ME instead of some ungrateful bosses who keep moving the goalposts! and also to be able to take china to work with me!

My family know nothing about it yet except my sis (and of course my OH!)who has visited shops with me and attended viewings etc...

She is all for it as is my OH,

So shall keep you posted. Also should be going to Turkey in a few weeks time for a holiday with OH and to choose my proper engagement ring!!!!

I just wanted really to update you adn thank everyone for all their support and wisdom, without you all, i would still be stuck where i am!

Im so pleased alex you have finally found some light at the end of the tunnel good luck with your new venture .
If ever you decide that your bully of a boss needs a good whallop with a big base ball bat give me a shout (i cant stomach bullies ) but my theory is they only bully ppl to make up for there own short comings .
Alex i was diagnosed with bipolar syndrome a few years back and having the girls and channeling my energy into them is best decision i ever made

thanks hun, i feel excited at the prospect of not having anyone else to answer to apart from myself, and being able to have china with me at work, (thats one of the main reasons im doing this! )
