And my pal Eddie (who I buy all the beds and tellies etc from) has taken this pic this morning - said he opened his patio door and was looking at a French Missile Carrying Warship out in Larnaca Bay lol!

*said he thinks he will now hang on to all his stock of Pampers! He might need them for himself!

LOL at the banana
Was looking at the 'map' to see where Malka is and she is underneath where the action is focused on, I hope the Israelis have their 'dome' in full working order because no love lost between them and Syria at the best of times.

yes they are always going to war with Syria. Cyprus of course alternates it's 'best mates'. Sometimes it's the Israelis, sometimes the Syrians, sometimes even the Chinese and most times the Russians but they've really pissed off the Ruskies by nicking their money in the banks!

Re the banana - talk is here that that's the Cypriot NAVY!

Oh that is sooooo funny, but oh soooo true
I know the UK can't afford another war, we're still paying for World War II never mind Afghanistan and Iraq (or was it Iran, can never remember, anyway it begins with an 'I') but really we're going to be like the kid at school who never gets picked for the netball/hockey/footie team, standing there with our noses pressed against the glass shouting encouragement from the sidelines
