Four days to go – I’m not counting, honest

I got home from work yesterday to find the Christmas tree up and decorated – it looks lovely, and I’m all Christmassy now, thanks to Baz. Gotta love that man (which makes a change from wanting to smack him upside the head with a baseball bat)

Bless Baz, so glad you're feeling all chrismassy now I was too lazy to put up the 8ft tree we had, so I bought a 6ft pop up tree this year

Well, yesterday was a wash-out - rain, rain and more rain.

Gotta go into town to pick up a new kettle. Mine just stopped dead last night and coffee just doesn't taste the same with water boiled in the microwave - don't know why.

Must get the cards delivered to the neighbours - all the others are sent.

Oh well thats my day off gone, back to work again. Still didn't fit in half the things I needed to do, and my next day off is christmas day when I have 15 family coming to me.
Still the tree is up, all the pressies bought, just a few bits of food still to get but the drink we got yesterday. A few more decs to go up when I can fit them in, but it won't be the end of the world if I can't.

Sounds like you love Christmas as much as me then Vicki, and Lou you cracked me up about your trees!!! Hope you find a good kettle Chris, and you're definitely right about that microwaved water no matter how much it bubbles, it just aint right is it, all that scum on your tea!

Oh roll on that winter solstace (sp?) whenever it is coz I'm hating these dark mornings it's not right getting up in the middle of the night. I'm also going to have a quick moan about the Christmas weather forecast, I hate it when it's mild or wet, that's not right either, we want snow for the day or at the very least crispy white frost, not soggy and warm

I never got to Morrisons yesterday to grab my £25, coz I got waylaid down the town and in the end I didn't even know what I was really looking for , so I came home empty handed! Even Debenhams was all c*ap, but then the whole of my nearest town is c*ap really, I should have gone to Brighton. Today will be Morrison's day then
