Evening all
Lynn.....the world is just too peopley, full of people concerned with only themselves and that's it....s*d everyone else
Chris, can't be helped if they are opposite and it's not being nosy.... it's being neighbourly so when you see them out you will know who they are and be able to say hi....I live across the road.
Rung the specialist about the pooch, he called me back, asked if I could go tomorrow...I can't as dad's got his covid jab, so Thursday it is, they said don't feed her, I said will she be having surgery?? He said let's see if it's the same problem first......I have a feeling they are fleecing me! I have rung my own vet to find out exactly what the report says and if they say she would have surgery if not improved....that's what will happen! I also told the staff at my vets that I don't trust the specialist place at all...I didn't want to go there anyway. Really p*ssed me off when they were trying to find Kota on the system at the specialist, I gave her name, address....spelt it and then the woman said "there's Diesel coming up, is she one of your other pets"?? I said yes.she was but she died nearly 7 years ago....I was nearly crying, we had a bad experience with diesel there too
Our city has gone bonkers, people queueing up to get into a pub that opened just after midnight....no masks/ social distancing in the queue, huge queue for Primark, I had my hair appointment booked since February and I literally went there and got out of town sharpish, Steve said he gives it 2 weeks and we will be put into a lockdown again.
Had a few issues with my second jab booking....it was booked and I got a call after lunch yesterday... private number, asking me not to attend my appointment and that they would send me a link to rebook my appointment...I logged in and checked.... appointment still there but availability to rebook.....so I did!! I think it was dodgy as she only called me by my first name and didn't ask me for any of my details and ended the call saying..... don't attend the clinic..o.k?

Yep quite agree griff to many people and some so selfish.
Wow that's bad about the specialist for Kota. Also the 2nd jab call.

It's all pretty odd across the road to be honest. A van and a car are in and out all day. The van is from one of the big caravan owners - as in they have loads of sites here.

They seem to come, stay an hour and take off again, then back they come. Four or five times a day up to now. We are starting to wonder if it's going to be the couple's home or a holiday let. Either way, it doesn't really matter

That sounds very odd Kelly on the vaccination front. I do hope the specialist turns out better than you think. Kota deserves the best

I think I have been spoilt with having a really good vet....he knew I didn't want to go there but my dad said it was the closest so she had to go there......I just hope they sort her out
Hmmmm, the covid thing was very very odd, I had had an unusual call earlier in the week and I have an idea as to who is responsible, last time this happened, I just said that the police had been informed and were monitoring my calls...it all stopped, I can't change my number so I just block the ones I can. I have said again that I was contacting the police who would look into things so all being well it's sorted and more importantly, I haven't missed my jab!
