Yes that's my thought.

It's not that I really object to paying for one, it's just that if it falls through again it's another wasted expense with nothing to show for it.

They haven't even got a solicitor yet so warning bells are clanging

Definitely not renting it out. Daughter did that with their bungalow when they bought there present one. Twice they had it trashed and had major problems. No way Jose

If it falls through again, it falls through. I hope it doesn't (obviously), but once things open up again, there would likely be more viewers and a better chance of getting what it's actually worth, but hey ho, we'll go with the flow
