Britains Fastest Dog

Hi dunno if this thread has already been done, I couldn't see it.
Has anyone heard about this? And if so is anyone entering? As I have entered my bitch as it gives her a nice run off lead!!! Just wanted to know if anyone knew about it all

I think it's unfair too.
Apparently, they are banned because it's what they are bred to do! Still unfair I think.

Is there a website?

No website don't think just read it in the paper. Just them three mentioned that are banned. Yeah its because they are bred to do it and so would be gauranteed to win and greyhounds can be fighters and so smash other dogs up on the tracks. Belive me i work with them they can be nasty dogs, (but well lovely) lol

but lots of other dogs are fighters too! I can see why they're doing it, but I think it's a little unfair. There are lots of fighting dogs who wouldn't be banned though? and lots of other speedy woofers. :@ the mind boggles.

If I still had Glen a BC I would have defiantly put him in this race, he was very fast, a friend of mine raced him once on the sand, and he clocked 40mph! that is fast and loved every minute of it.

Thing is though if greyhounds and the like were allowed to enter surely it would just end up being a sight hound race? Rather then fastest dog?

ETA - Sorry no, never heard of this!
