Is it too late?

To change Razzle`s name to Bear?
I`ve never liked Raz as a name. And it simply doesn`t suit him.
Now he`s turned the corner and is ready to face the Outside World I thought it might be a good time to change it -

Razzle as he was :



Bear as he is now:



What do you think? Or do you have an alternative suggestion?

Never too late many rescues change name later in life as no one knows their name or like Duncan are scared when their name is called so a name change is inevitable. Bear is gorgeous and really suits his new name !

I think that Baloo suits him, "Bhaaloo" being the word for "bear" in Hindi, and he is a rather special looking bear is he not?

Pair it with Razzle for a while and with his food and it'll change easily. I've done it with dogs for various reasons and it works fine.

I like Baloo too.
You could call him RazBaloo for a while then just drop the Raz when he gets used to it

I think Bear really suits him and lets be honest how many of us actually call our dogs by their correct names. I know most of mine over the years have ended up with nicknames they answer too that sounded nothing like their real name.
So I would say go ahead and change it.
