I've come to a decision.

After having a dream last night - a verrrrrrry weird dream might I add - I have come to the conclusion that Louie shall not be done unless there is a problem (something wrong with the danglies or he escapes/looks for bitches in heat).

Hahaa it sounds so strange - I didn't have a good nights sleep last night, but I dream't I'd had him done and I'd regretted it after.

I think it's 'cos I've been thinking about getting him done a lot lately.

Dreams are funny things..I'll probably get him done in the future, but I suppose this dream was telling me that it isn't the right time.

why would you castrate him anyway if hes not doing/has any of the above

I don't really know - I think it's because he's my first male - first real dog.

TBH, unless there is a need to, I wont be neutering any future dogs.

On the same token, why would you not castrate a pet dog that is never going to be bred from.

why should u? i have one neutered male in my pack(medical reasons) the rest are not sex craved beasts ... if they were then i would, but just because they have their nuts doesnt mean im gonna let them go round impregnating dogs
