Dog Training Clubs

Can anyone recommend a dog training club in the North West (UK), preferably in Cheshire?

Hi Andy not sure what you are looking for but I would check the APDT web site for a list of local trainers ..

..contact one in your area and ask for advice on the type of training class you are looking for. The APDT run various classes using only positive training methods and their excellent trainers are usually happy for you to go and sit in on a class before you sign up.

From reading the other thread I understand there is no recognised qualification for a trainer, which is a concern. So you're right, will try and sit in on a class before joining in.

Not sure exactly what we are looking for, but positive training methods sound more suitable. I am probably a bit ahead of myself, but keep wanting to ensure I'm doing the best for little Pepper. My wife keeps telling me to stop stressing. I don't know what I will be like when we have children!!!

'Dig it Dogs' in Sandbach. Check their website. We're doing agility with our female there...They do all sorts of classes. Lovely, laid back, farm location. Friendly bunch

We have a black Newfoundland called Pepper!
