I typed mine into google to see what came up, very few, no dog names and most in a different language so I dread to think what it may mean

Mine is TRUNORTH.

It was my 5th choice, but I chose it because I live in mid-Northumberland, and I get a bit peeved when people think places like Birmingham are 'up north'.

For gawds sake it takes me 4 hours to drive south to Birmingham. Do people 'doon sooth' think we're still in chariots up ere.

So, that's us TRUNORTH.

Thandiwe (pronounced tan-di-weh) which is a Zulu word meaning 'beloved'.

We're "Silverbriar".

We originally wanted "Wildbriar" as its our house name and sounds nice, and as we were allowed to register a dog from our first litter with it 2 years ago we thought we'd most likely be able to get it. But the wonderful kennel club had managed to overlook the fact that someone has had that kennel name for about 10 years when we registered our dog, so we had to have HER name changed, as well as having our second choice affix!

I like it, it sounds nice and looks nice written and generally seems to go well with most of our dogs names. Have had a bit of a problem with one of our pugs though, her name was "eastonite Silverbangle" so with our affix stuck on the end she's now "Eastonite Silverbangle of Silverbriar" - Bit of a mouthful, and very silver

I actually dont add my affix to dogs I have bought in. I like to leave them be, I did it to one of my dogs with my old affix (Wilhen Enchanted Light over Jerakeen) and regret it now. None of the others will be done.

Why did you discontinue your affix Becky?

My old affix was for my Terriers. I made a few life changing descions about a year ago, which included changing my name, so I decided to have a new affix to go with the new me!!
Besides Mahooli suits the poodles better than Jerakeen!
