FYI the Swedish Kennel Club banned dogs for all dogs, but after a study into tail injuries in working traditionally docked,breeds they allowed these dogs to be docked

I was surprised to see the Britanny docked so short - it looked deformed.

I don't buy this tail injury at all. I know many working gundogs, but NONE that have tail injuries.

It could have course have been a natural bob as Brittany’s are either born tailless, with a bob tail or with a full tail. Friend of mine has natural tailless Britannies

& I have a friend with a docked pet Labrador docked because she injured her tail so badly whilst out doing what Labradors do naturally that it couldn't be repaired !!!!!!

How many smooth coated HPR working dogs do you know ???
