iv recently been trying to track down the reputable breeders (who check hip dysplasia, keep accurate pedigrees etc) based in the UK, and found 1 in cornwall, 1 in bedford and 1 at the very top of scotland! - bedford being around 4 hours away from me and the rest much more!

i'm not looking to buy any dogs just yet, i just want to be in the company of them to see what they are really like, as i'm sure you know, reading about a dog and actually being around one are completely different. so the question really is, are you aware of anywhere within reasonable distance of the north west that can give me this experience?

because its probably not something she wants the whole world and his wife to know about?

specially with the amount of people out there after "trophy" dogs, the information could well fall into the wrong hands if it were on a public forum.

also, i may need to give more specific details about where abouts i live, of which i wouldn't want on the internet for all to see.
