Just watched a truly lovely film called What we Did on our Holiday. Funny, poignant and just beautiful set in Scotland. If you can find it on bbciplayer or somewhere it is worth a watch.

Flipping heck Brenda I was just going to post about this film simply loved it. There is another film by a similar title which is also in my onion brilliant also a paperback book which is even better What We Did On Our Holiday by John Harding I would recommend both

I think the film was on last night but I choose to watch Van der Valk (The original version with Barry Foster and that nice music )


I have found that most of these new channels tend to repeat films on a regular basis so with your recommendation I shall look out for it


Hope the fence painting goes OK, it can be messy but worth it.


Has cooled down a bit now so I'm off to water some things in the garden (The bit I'm allowed to water )

The stroller was only used for a couple of days while Rosie got over a limp. It hasn't been hot enough at the time we go out to use it since especially as we are not tempted to go back to town at the moment with the numbers here. It'll be still there for if and when it's needed
