I am sure noone is interested but..

..as a few of you know i was going to set up a dog walking business. Well I had it all ready to go, the van kitted out with cages, advertising, insurance the lot. But we were suddenly lumbered with a few hefty bills all at once....car, vets, huge leccy bill amongst other things and i had had no responses to my ads.

So i had an offer off a good friend of mine who bought the van, which i made a little profit on!
So my walking business is no more ;-( And now i keep getting calls, but hey ho!!

Anyway I have gone back to caring (for people in their own homes) which is hard work (which i am still adjusting to. lol!) but am liking it, it is very rewarding.

Ah sorry to hear about that. It's sods law isn't it as soon as you get rid of the van you start getting calls. There are so many people in the same boat as you trying to get business's off the ground. At least you can always say you tried.

Well done on the new job. I so admire people like you xx

I am sorry the dog walking didn't work out. I am pleased you are happy doing what you are doing at the moment.
You never know maybe the dog walking business will happen later.

Takes a while to get the business in for dog walking, but hope you're happy doing what you're doing?

Could you not do it on foot or is your area not like that?

oh that sucks - it wouldn't have been so bad if the phone still hadn't rung once you sold the van.

But, good that you are looking on the positive side, you've made a small profit on the van and have a job that is rewarding, so things could be a lot worse.

What a shame that it didn't work out for you. At least you weren't out of pocket and are employed in a job you like.

So tough to start a business and keep it going in this climate!
Glad you made a profit on your van and have a job you enjoy *hugs*
