Tinkering Tuesday. 6/06/2023.

Good morning everyone.
Overcast and breezy here today.
Quilt on the line and other washing in the machine washing.
I had a Sue day today. Not finished yet, bathroom cleaning and decided to give the shower a good clean including taking off the plastic strip at the bottom of the door
Still dusting, sweeping and hoovering to do. My windows are in dire need of a clean bit they won't get done today.
So still not quite as industrious as Sue.
Gorden is digging the holes for the new posts so the retractable fencing and hand gate can go on and the big farm gate will come off.

Waiting to hear from Pam on more news about Brigg.

griff hoping you are feeling better today.
brenda hope all is well with you.
Sue hoping you have a bit calmer day today.
Chris I hope you have enjoyed your walk and breakfast out with Teddy.
Kazz I hope your day goes well.

Good evening all

Very cold here yet again this morning and one of those dull and miserable days. Despite that we still did our usual outing.

Pupster Teddy has eaten all his meals today and even managed some dog food which he's adamantly refused up to now. I've cooked up quite a batch of both pork and beef mince so hopefully by the time it's finished his feeding will be 'normal'

First trip to the vets today for a general check up and to get used to both the surgery and Lisa, his vet. He caused quite a stir and was cuddled by the entire staff

The trip also gave us another opportunity to get him used to the car which he seems ok with now. All in all, a good and pleasant experience all round for him today so socialisation in all forms is going well

All going in the right direction Chris.
It has been dull and chilly here too plus we had some rain. The plants loved it even though I had to bring my washing in.

Good evening all have had a surprise from my brother and sister for my 60th which is on Saturday. They have booked for Tuesday 13th for us to go to London (just the three of us) so we are booked for the London Eye then lunch at Core By Claire Smyth as well as a cruise on Thames in the late afternoon/Evening before returning home. Also discovered I am booked to go with Nephew Lewis to the The Velocity Zip Wire as a birthday present later in the week. And going for a weightless experience as well at NEC.

Thanks Lynn I am going to enjoy them all. Met a puppy today and for some reason got a bit thoughtful. Always thought I would be a rescue soul but for some reason a puppy got my mind rolling.

Kazz, you can get puppy rescues, I have had 2
Evening all
Firstly, glad teddy's decided dog food is o.k and tbf, having to sedate one of mine going to the vets....well, he can be a little dramatic!
Lynn, hope you are good
Sue, likewise
Brenda, sorry Margaret couldn't visit, you shall have to celebrate doubly hard next time.
Been weighed, lost a tiny amount but...yay!
Hospital called, op is Deffo off and I won't be done for at least 6 weeks, but....a lady called Melanie called me back and she says to call her after I have completed my antibiotics and she will see how fast she can get me done! Bonus!
My uncle rung to check on me.....out of the blue! Was quite touched as I didn't think he would remember I was due in.
Finding my dad an incredibly difficult person to be around and finding it hard to bite my tongue! Bought his father's Day card, paid .49p..... kind of sums up my feelings, thought about not bothering but didn't want to cause an argument
