What a lovely story with a very happy ending.

However not all people who get a dog for nothing treat it like that. Years ago I ran on a pup for a friend who paid all food and vet bills. I just had to job of socalising and training him. By the age of 10 months we realised he was not going to make it in the show world and I was not really in the position to keep him so a home was found for him. He went early one morning and was back with me within five hours as not being suitable. I returned their money and he stayed with me for the rest of his life which meant I had to forego getting a pup of my own for a couple of years but hey he was worth it.

Hi Shona,
Beau sounds like one in a million, his new home looks and sounds fantastic, I'm sure he'll be a very happy boy! I know you'll be feeling so sad over the next few days, but take comfort in knowing that he will be happy xx
