Have - Would like to have

I suspect this has been done before but I wondered

a) What's the most popular 'breed' currently owned amongst Dogsey folk.

b) What's the favourite 'breed' if you were fortunate enough to be able to have any breed.

I'm sure it could be done as a poll but it would be a long list !

I currently have a Springer as well as a Deerhound x Old English Sheepdog.

One day I hope to have an Irish Wolfhound !!

Springer and a terrier x here.
Would love another springer, or another russell after loosing my old girl, and a German Shorthaired Pointer just for the fun!

Hi Luke

Fingal is my second Springer. My first (Beau) was a working dog who came and went on and off (with my older brother who was a gamekeeper) before eventually becoming mine.

Fingal was a real shock to the system as he was from 'working stock' and I've had him since 8 weeks.

I would say (unlike Beau who had calmed down before having to be a pet) Fingal was a real shock to the system. We had mass destruction and although I look back now and laugh, I swore (up untill he was about 4) that I would never have another Springer as 'a pet'

Having said that, he's good as gold now (aged 7) and perhaps......

although our black lab is on the way - 1 week old now !!

I have a JRT and a Rottie xGSD.
I had a JRT before whom I loved dearly but said I would never have another but along came Milo bless him .
Always loved Rotties and GSD's and couldn't make up my mind which to get so when I saw Shady and littermates advertised with both in her I decided that would solve my dilemma.

I adore Cavaliers they are my favourite breed of all time but after the traumatic time I had with my beautiful babies I knew emotionally I couldn't go through that again. But they will always remain in my heart the best breed on this planet.
