Fish Pond..

Anyone got a fish pond? we have a space in our garden that is perfect for a pond, which is best the rigid pond liner or the plastic soft one??

we have the plastic soft one!! its great, its not very big but we have 2 goldfish in there at mo!!

dont know much about ponds really

My folks have one with a liner. You just need to be careful in the winter when you break the ice.

It's lasted at least 15 years

Hi Moli, We have always used a Butal(sp) lining for ponds, 'cos that way you can have it exactly the shape/depth you want. A good quality liner should come with up to a 20 yr guarentee.

What kind of pond are you having - Fish, wildlife, ornamental Koi ?

Go for the liner. The hard ones can crack, not always but it can happen.
swimming staffies??? but will they get past Moli?

Oh dear, fish ponds are not one of my favorite subjects I do have a lovely kidney shaped fish pond with a lovely wishing well, but its minus the fish
