I was intending to do the same thing with Saffy but wondered if she'd be allowed in. I guess there's only one way to find out

I voted at 7.30am this morning because they normally get pretty busy later on!

Hello, (putting tin hat on again)
Yes we all pay towards the NHS but, we don't pay enough into it. I was reading a medical magazine once (a few year ago) and they were on about flu vaccinations, they were priced at £120 for one vile. Now every pensioner in the country is allowed to have one of these and there are 11 million pensioners so multiply £120 * 11 million = a lot of money.

To be honest, I don't think that any party or anyone could ever get the NHS right.

For example, Diabetics cost the NHS £400 per minute, due to complications etc.

Ian

Hello Ian,
If the drug companys did not crave such massive profits, these medications would cost a lot less.

Totally agree with you there, it is time that the NHS started to do what big food companies do, say we will pay X amount for this product, like it or lump it.

You make a fair point Ian. It's not my point of view but that's a different story

There was an interesting story about the NHS buying cheap HIV drugs that were intended for Africa because they were getting a 'deal' on them. A very sad state of affairs
